Intertextuality;

This video does conform to Goodwins theory as i have found Intertextuality in both the costume and dance moves.

Costume
Trilby, black shoes and white socks all scream Michael jackson.
Also the black trousers, shirt, tie and braces bring Charlie Chaplin to mind!

Dance

And slight use of mime like in early slap stick comedy

Notion of looking;

Looking is used alot throughout the vid especially during the crescendo of the vid when Neyo is dancing and try to win the lady in the middle of the square.
